曖昧な使用
日本人著者による論文では、代名詞の曖昧な用法がたびたび見うけられます。代名詞を用いるときは、それが指す対象の名詞の同定が明確で、代名詞が表す意味について解釈の余地がないということを必ず確認すべきです。以下に代名詞の曖昧な使用の典型例とその修正例を挙げます。
